A Heartfelt Letter of a Former Ahmadi

Sheikh Raheel Ahmad, a former Ahmadi from Germany who has converted to Islam, pens a heartfelt letter to his former brothers-in-faith.

When I was a Qadiani, I used to present Mirza Sahib as a true lover of the Prophet ﷺ, citing the same attractive and presentable writings of Mirza Sahib which my Qadiani friends used to typically quote.

This is indeed the reality that 95% of Qadiani friends are not even aware of the derogatory and blasphemous writings of Mirza Sahib, and when someone not belonging to their community presents such a reference which they have not seen before, they immediately become defensive and respond with indignation that this is a lie perpetrated by the maulvis or that the reference has been quoted out of context.

I know, because I used to do the same, and never felt the need to confirm the original references myself. This is because I had been brainwashed, and had a firm belief that what the Qadiani murrabis have conveyed to me is indeed the truth.

However, once I started analysing the writings of Mirza Sahib independently, I discovered that distorting references, presenting incomplete references, mixing our own opinions with the original references, and presenting baseless references that do not even exist, are all practices of our own community that are unmatched in history.

My Appeal to the Ahmadis

My former brothers-in-faith, the Ahmadis: You have accepted Mirza Sahib as the prophet for the love of Islam, for the love of the Prophetﷺ, for the love of Quran, aspiring for piousness and in the search of peace and tranquillity in your life.

However, when you will objectively study Mirza Sahib’s writings with an unbiased frame of mind, you will begin to sense how the Ahmadiyya community has distorted the fundamentals of Islam.

Listen! It is your responsibility to use all your intellect to differentiate the truth from falsehood, because in front of Allah, the excuse that Molvi Dost Mohammad Shahid told me so, or Mirza Masroor said this, will not be accepted. Rather, Allah ﷻ will question you that did you use your faculties of rational thinking and wisdom that I had granted you, to seek the truth? For God’s sake, at least just for once, analyse Mirza Sahib’s books without prejudice – it will surely send shivers down your spine! If you do not have time to read all or some of the books, then just examine the references from only one or two books of our scholars and then read just a few pages around these references. You will surely be able to see what is the truth and what is falsehood.

Instead of only listening to the members of Mirza Sahib’s family or the murabbis, I implore you to evaluate for yourself, using your own intellect and critical thinking and taking the responsibility of your faith in your own hands.
