No. Qadiani beliefs are diametrically opposite to core Islamic beliefs, and Qadianis themselves consider all Muslims to be kafir. Islamic belief in the finality of the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is a core belief of Islam, and any claimant of prophethood cannot be a Muslim.
A sect has the same prophet, the same book and the same core beliefs, but may have some other differences in opinion. Qadianis have a different prophet (Mirza) and a different book (Tazkirah). Having a different prophet makes it a different religion and not just a sect of the same religion.
Firstly, the Qadiani kalimah is not the same as Muslim kalimah in its meaning. Moreover, one does not become a Muslim by just performing salah but a Muslim is the one who believes in and affirms whatever the Prophet ﷺ came with in terms of his sayings, actions, and creed. The Qadianis have heretic beliefs about the core tenets of Islam that are clearly against the Prophet ﷺ sayings, and the beliefs that define Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ has foretold us about 30 liars (who may pose as Muslims) who will claim prophethood, but the Prophet ﷺ has affirmed that all of them will be imposters and that there will be no prophet after him ﷺ.
Often when Qadianis proselytize Muslims, they say that we only consider Mirza Ghulam Ahmad to be the Mahdi. They do not mention Mirza’s claims of prophethood. However, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s claim was not that of just the Mahdi. He termed himself a full-fledged prophet, who brought new laws, then even on top of that, a second reincarnation of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. Terming him as just a Mahdi is a position taken by Ahmadis just to confuse Muslims. See this article to understand more about Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s clear and unambiguous claims of prophethood.
